| How it works | Lutein and Zeaxanthin belong to the xanthophyll family of carotenoids and are the two major components of the macular pigment of retina. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are the only carotenoids found in both the macula and lens of human eye, and have dual functions in both tissues to act as powerful antioxidants and to filter high-energy blue light. Copper and zinc disappear the gray cholesterol ring deposit inside the clear cornea at the front of the eyes. Lycopene is a carotenoid for good vision and reduces the risk of macular degeneration and cataracts later in life. Methylcobalamin prevents Optic neuropathy, a damage to the optic nerve which can lead to vision loss. |
