The active ingredient of Buscogast 10 MG Tablet is Hyoscine. It bears antispasmodic as well as antimuscarinic properties. It relaxes the smooth muscles thereby relieving cramps in the muscles of ureter, stomach, intestine, or the bladder.
How to use
Taking two or more medicines simultaneously may alter the effect of Buscogast. This can increase the risk of side effects or cause medicine not to work properly. Patients should notify their doctors about the medicines and herbal supplements they are taking in order to prevent drug interactions.
Interactions / Warnings
Buscogast tablet should not be given through intramuscular route in patients being treated with anticoagulant medicines due to the increased risk of intramuscular hematoma. In such a case, the subcutaneous or intravenous routes may be preferred.
