How it works
Calpol T Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol/Acetaminophen and Tramadol. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Calpol T Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Take it with food, if it causes stomach upset.

Calpol T TABLET RELATED WARNINGS warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Calpol T Tablet. Taking Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Tramadol with alcohol can cause liver damage. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Calpol T Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Calpol T Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Consult a doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness (more than usual), difficulty breastfeeding, breathing problems, or limpness. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Calpol T Tablet may cause side effects such as drowsiness and blurred vision. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney CAUTION Calpol T Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Calpol T Tablet may be needed.
