Satrogyl-O is a combination of two antibiotics: Satranidazole and Ofloxacin. Satranidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Satrogyl-O may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Satrogyl-O may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. Lactation CAUTION Satrogyl-O is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. Driving Satrogyl-O may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear. Kidney CAUTION Satrogyl-O should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Satrogyl-O may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Liver CAUTION Satrogyl-O should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Satrogyl-O may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
