Satrogyl-O Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Satranidazole and Ofloxacin. Satranidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Satrogyl-O Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. Lactation CAUTION Satrogyl-O Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. Driving Satrogyl-O Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear. Kidney CAUTION Satrogyl-O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Satrogyl-O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Liver CAUTION Satrogyl-O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Satrogyl-O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
